i have created this page in an effort to encourage other artists, especially newer ones who find the whole art thing to be a bit daunting. i certainly didn't start out as an artistic genius, and i still have a lot of growing to do with my own work, but i think it's safe to say that my art has improved over time. your art will improve over time, too.
things here are listed from oldest -> newest. i'll state the date of creation beneath each piece and say a bit about what i remember of it [if applicable].
this little guy here is the first bit of digital art i've ever posted online [old privated animations on my youtube channel notwithstanding]. he was created and posted to my now-abandoned Deviantart on December 17th, 2016. it was painted in the program "Fresh Paint", which i remember being worse than ms paint somehow [in other words: i personally disliked it more]. i'd imagine that part of this was due to the fact that i was using it with a mouse. the program's probably fine. i don't know.
first ever iteration of my first ever fursona, and then one of my first non-fursona ocs. both of these are from January 2017. the fursona's name was Dlera and the oc was named Fluffy. Fluffy was a 'companion' of sorts to my fursona. it seems that i keep having two characters at minimum who are chummy with each other in my stories [in my current ongoing unnamed oc/fursona universe, there is a group of 3].
my first ever comic-related pieces, all from 2017. the first image was the first (and only) page of a comic series that explained why Fluffy was shy. apparently, her brother got killed by The Creature, and that made her shy. i was a literary genius back then, right?
the second image is the cover of my earliest attempt at a longform comic series known as "The Corruption". in it there was a dimension called the Corruption and there were evil versions of Dlera and Fluffy in there. then there is an image of the first page of that comic's earliest iteration-the youtube video Dlera mentions when she breaks the 4th wall is, uh, lost media...
more 2017 stuff, from later on. i was getting into better art programs at this time-the fox and dragon piece was done in Firealpaca, i think, and the second image was done in paint tool sai, which i used for a decent bit of time. i think they're both good programs-i do prefer paint tool sai but firealpaca is free and sai is not [however, sai is a one-time buy-you own it forever. a rarity nowadays.], so your mileage may vary depending on your budget. the third image was from december 2017, when i started humanizing my characters for some reason? also, bonus photo of my messy setup from back then.
in 2018 i started to remake the corruption. this is the cover page and then the last page of that remake attempt. you can read that remake attempt in full here.
this here is a character i still think quite fondly of-her name is Riki, and she stars in her own webcomic titled Hollow Hearted Life [abbrv. HHL], which can be read in full here. i never did finish writing her story, unfortunately, but it's a comic that was crucial to my growth as a comic artist. it's also very long, at 117 episodes on WEBTOON. this image is of her first ever iteration, from 2019.
some fanart of Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun and OMORI, from March 2020 and June 2021 respectively. i was starting to get a bit better at drawing people. i think the omori piece was also one of my earliest attempts at using real photos in my work.
some selected fnaf art from my fnaf phase. first two images are from 2023, while the third is from 2024-i think that's also around when my art started really improving. this is nowhere near the full amount of fnaf art i've done-for a more complete archive of all my fnaf art ever, you can look at the fnaf tag on my tumblr. there's some reblogs in there, but you should be able to tell what's mine and what's not. you can also find some rare old fnaf imagery and comics that didn't get posted here.
